Your blessed paws have touched upon sacred soils here, my friend... All around you, the air shudders with the steady thrum of life - the last breaths of your ancestry, awakened and thriving here in this very forest. Something has drawn you to the heart of this place, and nestled amidst the ancient labyrinth of aged trees you hunker below nature's gnarled wooden arches. These towering monuments, listing to lift their soft green canopies high above your head, have no doubt intimidated many a visitor within their shadowy realm. But not you. There is a strange comfort here, the darkness pressing in is a welcome cushion from unwanted eyes and a glorious oasis far from the blistering sun that gapes like an inflamed wound torn in a sky of pleasant, watery blue.
An insistent wind weaves its way throughout your heavy pelt, seeping into your sweltered skin, and as you pick your way through the forest trails a pleasantly mild mist puffs and wraps cool tendrils about your aching paws. Just as your heart begins to slow in a relaxing lull, your practiced legs swinging as though on a path of home, a brilliant burst of howling erupts from the trees up ahead. Though have convinced yourself you have never before come to rest in this place, it is that unsettling familiarity that urges you to toss back your own head with abandon; your maw rips open to offer another intricate line to the callings, just as the chorus comes to a graceful cadence. Your heart has quickened now, oh yes, and your gait follows suit. This is what has drawn you, there was always something waiting for you in this cloaked haven - you have been drawn by an unspoken promise, but of what is yet unknown.
Heavy drum-beats pound the soil, a cascade of paws against the ground as the voices of your brothers thrill all around. There is an excitement that reigns in you now, that glorious taste of freedom that lingers on your tongue each time you drink of the sweeter forest airs. That wind, so tantalizing and uplifting now, drives you towards the centre of energy. A crowd, a family, a committee all gathered to greet you with warm eyes and hearts warmer still. As you merge in the ranks, each one of their souls seeds within yours and there seems to be some silent, mutual understanding of all that has and all that is to pass between you. A collective mind and spirit with an unyielding bond that shall ne'er be strained nor taxed by any will of our own. That is what you have been promised here - to live, to live freely, and to belong...

As of February 2010, Earthensong is the resurrection of a semi-realistic wolf pack RPG that offers a home to both experienced players and newcomers alike - all levels are welcome, though we tend to favour literate members!
We are a very friendly pack with a revolutionised ranking system and a democratic rule. Activity and action are self-regulating, kept alive by the imaginations of all individuals within the pack, and enough freedom is given to breathe life into the interesting characters people will wish to carry with them for years to come.
Unlike so many packs, we are a very relaxed group with a distinct family atmosphere that we hope sets us aside from others. If you find your home among us, we can only promise to take you in as one of our own and provide a setting; all else must come from you. Your imagination, your creativity and your dedication are vital for our survival, so it is expected that all members must give as well as receive.
Led by the Alphas Kivak and Hinaezuu Atradico, you are welcomed to take part in the celebrated rebirth of this glorious pack. If your journey guides you elsewhere, rest assured that your departure will be mourned but never laced with hostilities and ill-feeling; this is a dreadful trend that seems to be emerging in most packs without exception. Know that you may part ways with us, but friend you will remain - once family, always family.
